Our approach was a bit different as we had selected fixtures and finishes before we reached out to contractors for bids. We contacted Burkco Bath for a quote, and although not the high or low bid, what set him apart from the beginning was we always received timely responses to questions and inquiries on our selections, including recommending other materials if he thought what we selected was not the quality we expected. When materials arrived in less than acceptable condition, Burke immediately arranged for replacements. Daily communication continued throughout the project and made us feel he was just as invested in the project as we were. Burke completed 3 bathroom remodels for us. He did an amazing job of keeping us informed on what was happening day to day. The biggest project was our master bath where a wall was removed & a big walk in shower installed. We talked to several remodelers & none of them were a thorough as Burke when it came to picking out our tile, floors & fixtures. It made it easy for us to pick exactly what we wanted. Our shower is absolutely gorgeous with the herringbone tile work that Burke did for us. We absolutely love our new bathroom. There was an issue with the cabinet we picked out. The company made it the wrong size. Burke noticed it right away & went back to the manufacturer to get it corrected. Unfortunately they took their time replacing it with the correct size but Burke handled the issue & kept us informed on progress. Sometimes things happen that are out of your control but Burke handled the issue professionally even though it took longer than we had hoped to finish the project. We were out of town for 1 week but felt comfortable having Burke & Ryan come every day to work on our upstairs bath. When they were getting ready to tile the floor Burke noticed our floor was not even & he took the time to even it out so that our tile set evenly. We would never have known there was an issue as we were out of town but Burke did the right thing by sending us a video of the problem, correcting it & didn’t charge us for the extra work he had to do. It means a lot to have someone that goes the extra mile & takes pride in their work that they would not let something like that slide by. I think the most important aspect of having someone work in your home is that they are there everyday working until the job is finished & they they keep you apprised of what is happening.
